RIVER BEND FILM FESTIVAL


Thursday (7:30 p.m. – 11 p.m.) – FREE
Our annual free Thursday night screening is 7:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. in room 1001 in Weikamp Hall at Indiana University South Bend, which is sponsored by the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts.  View some work by the college’s New Media students, a variety of shorts, and the feature Finding Xanadu: The Life & Films of Samuel W. Truss, a student-produced mockumentary chronicling the life of an Indiana filmmaker.

Your last assignment is to document your work at the River Bend Film Festival and Edit together your documentation to critique on April 24th.

April 10th: Tips on documenting work (Click here for PDF)
                    in class work time to Polish final pieces.

April 13th: SETUP TIME IS 12PM at the Century Center.
                    If everyone could meet at NS 031 at 11:30AM to load 
                    TV's and equipment into trucks and cars.
                    Show opens at the Century Center at 6PM.
April 14th: TAKE DOWN | CLEAN UP is at 8PM-9PM Saturday night.
April 17th: In class work time to edit documentation of work.
April 24th: TIMELINE EXTENDED for 
                   NARRATIVE Extra Credit to TODAY
                   FINAL CRITIQUE TODAY
                   (Critique of final documentation of your 4th assignment.)
May 1st: NO CLASS --- FINAL PAPER DUE TODAY by NOON. 
                 I will not except late papers. Late papers will receive a Zero.
